The main objective of the present research of qualitative, descriptive and micro
ethnographic model is to identify and observe how the guidelines of the National Plan
of Bilingualism are being applied and executed within the teaching practices in the
classroom of a public institution of Armenia that works with a pilot program in
bilingualism by early partial immersion executed from preschool to fifth grade of
primary school. In addition, it also seeks to determine how these teaching practices
are in the pedagogical and didactic field and if these are correlated with bilingual
policies. The data collection instruments that were used throughout the investigation
are the following: the first is the documentary analysis that was made to all the
institutional documents such as the PEI of the institution, suggested curriculum, the
Basic Learning Rights Fifth Grade (DBA) and the Municipal English Area Plan (PAMI).
An interview was also held with the coordinator of the institution about the bilingual
policies and the pilot plan that is being executed there, these items were also
investigated in the surveys that were directed to English teachers, in addition to the
daily teaching practice of each one of them and his knowledge about the pilot plan by
early partial immersion in which they are participants. Finally, open and structured
observations were analyzed. The aforementioned instruments facilitated the analysis
and triangulation of data that resulted as a result that the bilingual educational policies

are being consistent with the teaching practices at the level of materials
implementation and class development. However, there was also a disarticulation
between the primary seat with piloting in bilingualism and the main headquarters of
the institution.
